I didn’t know much about Something Rotten prior to the watching the Broadway play and I actually preferred it that way because every moment was such a treat. The laughs are non-stop from beginning to end with subtle pop culture references throughout. You don’t need a lot of Shakespeare knowledge prior to the show to enjoy all of the references about him. The play has something for everyone with great dance numbers, fun songs, romance, jealousy, and lovable characters. Trust me when I say that you will love it!
If you are looking for winter fun, Shanty Creek Resorts has a lot to offer! This Northern Michigan resort has everything you need for a great snowcation.
Are you ready for spring?
I know that I am! I’m looking forward to warmer weather and spring flowers.
I’m not really good at personally tending to the flowers, but I’m glad that other people do a great job so that I can enjoy viewing them! It’s also fun to find new inspiration that might actually be doable too.
That’s where the 2017 Cincinnati Home & Garden Show comes in.
On our way to Washington, D.C. on a family vacation, we took the longer, scenic route through the mountains. We discovered a beautiful resort along the way that had both history and mystery nestled in the hills of West Virginia. The Greenbrier Hotel, located in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia, started from the popularity of the sulphur springs that were discovered there in 1778.
The Schoolhouse Restaurant is a dining destination that I’ve had on my list for almost a year.
Traverse City, Michigan is a very popular destination in the summer for its beautiful water, weather, and a love of all things cherry themed or flavored, as the Cherry Capital of the World…..but you don’t have to wait until summer to experience adventure in Northern Michigan! I discovered why Crystal Mountain is a such a popular “snowcation” destination for winter fun too.
Weird and Good! That’s how my husband and I would describe Little Shop of Horrors presented by Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park. That description may be a little too over simplified. When the plot involves a talking plant that thirst for human blood…that’s definitely a little weird, but the good came in SO many forms during the play.
I have tried the Olympics sport of curling several times during a “Learn to Curl” class.
Each time I LOVED it! Why, you ask?
Auto fans, it’s that time again for the 2017 Cincinnati Auto Show February 8-12. This is a great opportunity to compare vehicles from a variety of manufacturers, all under one roof. The exhibits this year will offer something for everyone, young and old.
