I was invited to accept the challenge to Get Fit at Liberty Center. This was our first visit and we definitely got our steps in! Liberty Center provides indoor shopping along with a multi use recreational community concept with restaurants, entertainment, offices, and living space.
I met the representatives from Visit Stillwater at a travel conference a few years ago and their enthusiasm and passion about their city intrigued me enough to want to visit a place that was honestly never on my radar before. There are two things that you learn pretty quickly during a visit to Stillwater, OK; this community LOVES football and you are destined to bring home one of their creative t-shirts.
So what is there to do in Stillwater, Oklahoma?
I’m sharing 8 things to add to your list.
My family LOVES amusement parks and we just happen to live close to Kings Island Amusement Park which means that we can have fun all summer long as a family. Last year we purchased a Gold Season Pass and had a such a great time that we decided to continue the memory making again this year. Purchasing a Gold Season Pass made us face the decision again of whether we wanted to pay extra for the All Season Dining Plan.
I did have some reservations about buying the dining plan because of the cost, but I’m finding the option to be extremely convenient.
1. You can pay for you Gold Season Pass with the All Season Dining over six months in 6 payments.
This makes it easier on the budget without paying interest.
2. I don’t have to meal plan before we go anymore.
In the past we would either eat before our visit at home, get fast food on the way there, or leave the park to eat and come back. My boys are always instantly hungry as soon as we enter the park reguardless of if they have just eaten before. Having our meals covered makes life easier.
3. There are menu/ restaurant options that everyone can be happy from.
There are even healthy and gluten free options.
4. You can get two meals each time you visit with your All Season dining pass.
Your meals have to be 4 hours a part. I would suggest either taking a picture of your food or setting an alarm on your phone to remember what time you ate last. Your pass will not work if you try to eat earlier than the 4 hour window.
5. The waterpark has restaurant options on the plan too.
That means that you can just enjoy the waterpark and don’t have to go to the other side of the park if you don’t want to.
6. You don’t have to pay extra out of pocket if you don’t want to.
The value of each meal is around $15 and is very filling. The pass pays for itself after a few visits. Drinks are not included in the pass but you can purchase a refillable bottle if you prefer to drink soft drinks.
7. You don’t have to cook.
This makes me and my family happy. Your hardest decision will be deciding what you want to eat and which restaurant that you want to eat if from. There is also a sit down restaurant on the dining options as well.
We’ve only visited the park a few times so far and I am so glad that we made the decision to purchase the All Season Dining Plan this year.
Do you have a Gold Season Pass too? Did you buy the All Season Dining Plan?
You can find out more about the Kings Island All Season Dining pass from their website.
Kings Island is located at 6300 Kings Island Dr., Mason, OH 45040.
My family has visited the Smoky Mountains region around and near Gatlinburg, Tennessee, many times over the years. Each time we visit, we run out of time before we run out of fun. There is ALWAYS something new to discover there…along with many family favorites that we try to visit each time we are in town.
A big part of the travel experience when you visit a city is the food. I’m sharing several restaurants that you will want to add to your list the next time that you are in Louisville, Kentucky.
I met Karen several years ago as the sponsor of a program that I’m a part of that helps encourage middle and high school students to make good choices. Over the years we have become friends, and I’ve observed her passion for health through CrossFit continue to grow. As someone who prided themselves on never trying CrossFit, I’ve always appreciated that people were really into it… from a distance.
When Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen invited me to partner with them and help recognize, share and reward goodness this year, Karen was the 1st person that came to mind. They also want you to share stories and nominate inspirational people, like Karen, to be rewarded for doing great things in your community, too!
We were invited to check out the new Cincinnati style vegetarian chili at Gold Star Chili. I knew there was only one way to approach it with my kids….deception. I know that sounds really bad, right?
I wanted them to try the 1st Cincinnati style vegetarian chili on the Cincinnati Chili Trail with an open mind.
I discovered Oldenburg, Indiana on a whim. My boys and I were traveling back from Indy and my curiosity won. Known as the Village of the Spires, Oldenburg’s German heritage and charm makes it a great daytrip getaway located about an hour from Cincinnati.
When we have guests in from out of town, we typically take them to Goodfellas Pizzeria in the Mainstrasse Village in Covington,KY for a few reasons.
