I love the presentation of the carved stones that display quotes of his that span over his four terms in office. The Memorial is also located along the western shore of the Tidal Basin which makes it accessible and a beautiful walk if you are visiting multiple sites in a day.

  1. Love your post. I think the Roosevelt Memorial was my favorite when we went to D.C. last summer. I took so many photos and walked around and around reading those quotes.

  2. Fab pictures Nedra! The first quote is wonderful. Live boldly now. I intend to embody that statement in all I do, especially as a traveler. Even though we push the limits of our comfort zones while traveling the world we can be a bit bolder at times, exploring more, getting lost more, taking the path less traveled. I’ve done a bit more bold exploring the past year or so and intend to do so even more as I head to Bali and other areas in Asia once again. So much fun awaits when you move forward boldly, in the moment. Keep on inspiring!
