Saturday Slip n’ Slide at Charlie’s Dump

slip n slide

Last summer my family and I went to one of the largest slip n’ slides I have ever been to. If you live in West Michigan, you need to carve out time to check out this event on Saturday.

We had a blast on these slip n slides last year!

This is so much fun for all ages!

Water Slides:

4 water slides, each 25′ x 150′, positioned on the south side of the Soccer Bowl.  Slides will be monitored by volunteers to be sure all safety precautions are taken and to maintain order.   A waiver must be signed and wristband purchased for $1 (or a non-perishable food donation for Hand2Hand Ministries) in order to ride the slides.

Toddler Waterpark:

At the bottom of the Soccer Bowl parents will find a waterpark for their children who may be too young for the slides.  Various pools, small slides, and water toys will be available for our youngest guests.  Parents are required to stay with their children in this area.  Volunteers will closely monitor this area to ensure the safety of all participants.

Vendor Tent:

Area businesses will have booths in our tent and many will offer free or low-cost items for all attendees.

Bounce Houses:

Several bounce houses will be available for children of all ages.  Bounce houses will be designated by age groups and monitored by volunteers to help ensure safety for all participants.

Dunk Tanks:

Two dunk tanks will be on site and available for guests to be dunked or to dunk others!  Dunk tanks will be monitored by volunteers to ensure the safety of participants.  Young children will be required to wear floatation devices (provided) if they are in the dunk tank.

Raffle Prizes:

Local businesses will donate prizes to be raffled by KIDS HOPE USA.  Raffle tickets can be purchased in advance from our Team Leaders and Volunteers and will be available the day of the event.

And Much More!

There will be a variety of other activities available for children including clowns sculpting balloons, model airplane flying, children’s workshops, and more!
