I was invited to accept the challenge to Get Fit at Liberty Center. This was our first visit and we definitely got our steps in! Liberty Center provides indoor shopping along with a multi use recreational community concept with restaurants, entertainment, offices, and living space.
My family LOVES amusement parks and we just happen to live close to Kings Island Amusement Park which means that we can have fun all summer long as a family. Last year we purchased a Gold Season Pass and had a such a great time that we decided to continue the memory making again this year. Purchasing a Gold Season Pass made us face the decision again of whether we wanted to pay extra for the All Season Dining Plan.
I did have some reservations about buying the dining plan because of the cost, but I’m finding the option to be extremely convenient.
1. You can pay for you Gold Season Pass with the All Season Dining over six months in 6 payments.
This makes it easier on the budget without paying interest.
2. I don’t have to meal plan before we go anymore.
In the past we would either eat before our visit at home, get fast food on the way there, or leave the park to eat and come back. My boys are always instantly hungry as soon as we enter the park reguardless of if they have just eaten before. Having our meals covered makes life easier.
3. There are menu/ restaurant options that everyone can be happy from.
There are even healthy and gluten free options.
4. You can get two meals each time you visit with your All Season dining pass.
Your meals have to be 4 hours a part. I would suggest either taking a picture of your food or setting an alarm on your phone to remember what time you ate last. Your pass will not work if you try to eat earlier than the 4 hour window.
5. The waterpark has restaurant options on the plan too.
That means that you can just enjoy the waterpark and don’t have to go to the other side of the park if you don’t want to.
6. You don’t have to pay extra out of pocket if you don’t want to.
The value of each meal is around $15 and is very filling. The pass pays for itself after a few visits. Drinks are not included in the pass but you can purchase a refillable bottle if you prefer to drink soft drinks.
7. You don’t have to cook.
This makes me and my family happy. Your hardest decision will be deciding what you want to eat and which restaurant that you want to eat if from. There is also a sit down restaurant on the dining options as well.
We’ve only visited the park a few times so far and I am so glad that we made the decision to purchase the All Season Dining Plan this year.
Do you have a Gold Season Pass too? Did you buy the All Season Dining Plan?

A visit to the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center is a must. The content of the museum is not easy to be faced with, but it’s important for all ages and races to learn more about freedom’s heroes.
Wooster, Ohio is a charming city that kind of takes you by surprise. Wooster is located in Wayne County which is a little over an hours drive from Cleveland, 1.5 hours from Columbus and a little over 3 hours from Cincinnati.
I have to start out with a confession, I honestly didn’t really know if the Toledo Zoo could compare to my home zoo (Cincinnati Zoo) and I was pleasantly surprised that the Toledo Zoo exceeded my expectations. Our first visit to the Toledo Zoo began at the Aquarium with a Behind-the-Scenes Tour with Ron Fricke, deputy director of the Zoo.
I love when we get to share an adventure together as a family. We discovered lots of ways to play during our first visit to Main Event Entertainment.
If you don’t have a lot of time, you can still see a lot of Hocking Hills in under 48 hours. I’m sharing how we packed in a lot of adventure into a small amount of time. I wouldn’t change a thing and I hope our itinerary is a useful guide to help you with yours.
Columbus, Ohio offers a lot for visitors to see and do. I’m sharing some of my favorite stops in Columbus that I would recommend checking out.
The hardest choice you will have to make when you step into Kalahari Indoor Waterpark is deciding what area of the waterpark to go to first.
Kalahari is the size of 3.5 football fields which makes it the largest indoor waterpark in the United States. Kalahari is filled with incredible detail for the artwork and animals on display.
The waterpark provides lots to do for all age groups and family stages.
My boys made a bee line for the Shooting Star water basketball pool area.
Our family was also determined to visit all of the areas of the waterpark during our stay.
If you want a relaxing pace you can enjoy the 12,000 sq. ft wave pool or the Lazy River in an inner tube. You can even catch a few rays under the Texlon transparent roof.
The lifeguard staff at Kalahari was extremely attentive to the safety of the guests in the water during our visit.
The Tanzanian Twister was a ride that intimidated us but ended up being one of our favorites!
You slide through an enclosed slide into a funnel that drops you about 5 feet into a pool of water.
I quickly learned that I wanted to make sure that I went through the whole feet first!
For an extra thrill you have to try Flowrider!
They have a variety of Kalahari black t shirts that ladies can put on over their swimsuit. Take my word for it and put on the black t shirt! You will be glad that you put it on once you discover how your swimsuit gets adjusted by the powerful waves.
Adults will enjoy the hot tub options that allow guests to go outside.
There are even 21 and up hot tubs that include a swim up bar.
You cannot bring outside food or drinks into the waterpark but there are several restaurant and bar options to choose from.
If you are considering going just for the day, make sure that you purchase your passes ahead of time online because the waterpark daypasses can sell out.
If you stay overnight, you will receive several waterpark passes with your room. You can also enjoy the waterpark the day you check in and up until 3pm on the day that you check out.
You can find out more about Kalahari Waterparks, Resorts & Conventions from their website.
