Do you need inspiration for your home or just love getting new ideas for home improvement?
The 26th annual Greater Cincinnati Kitchen, Bath & Remodeling Show rings in the fall remodeling season from October 4-6 at the Duke Energy Convention Center. This year’s show will feature 120 exhibitors specializing in kitchen and bath cabinetry, flooring, hardware, plumbing, complete renovation and general remodeling.
New options in home technology, green initiatives and energy-efficient systems are among the hot topics for this year’s fall remodeling season. As consumers continue to evaluate their available budget and the improvement projects most important to them, convenience, time-savings and quality are at the top of the list. Using mobile technology to promote home management is a growing trend in 2013.
“The ability to use cutting-edge mobile technology via your smartphone or tablet to control and monitor home security, HVAC, lighting and entertainment systems all at once is exciting,” says David Miller, president of Home Integrations, Inc. (Cincinnati), a show exhibitor. “Remote access to your home’s internal systems presents a convenient time-saving solution, but also promotes energy-savings and green solutions as well. Think of it as putting your home in hibernation mode while you’re away and having peace of mind knowing you can monitor your investment as you work, play or enjoy vacation.”
While at the show, make sure you take advantage of the free seminars that will help you take your home to the next level.
Free with show admission, seminars by the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI), Ohio Valley Chapter, are part of the 2013 show. NARI seminar topics will range from solutions to common roofing problems, planning your remodel, geothermal solutions and more.
