My husband and I were invited to check out some of the new menu items at Red Lobster. The thought of their cheddar bisquits had me dreaming of Red Lobster all day.
As an added bonus, I would be eating great food and I didn’t have to cook dinner. That was even better! We sampled several appetizers first. For those of you who don’t like seafood, there are a lot of menu items to enjoy that are not seafood related. We tried the new Southwest Chicken Pizza and the Spicy Buffalo Chicken Bites.
My favorite appetizer was the Sweet Chili Shrimp. It was so flavorful that I could have just eaten a plate full of that.
For the main course I tried the Rock Island Stuffed Tilapia. One of our servers mentioned that it was a dish that she looked forward to all year long so of course I had to try it! It was soooo good!
My husband tried the Lobster Lover’s Dream. His meal’s leftovers were enjoyed the next day for lunch too. His meal was a large amount of food that also included a salad.
For dessert we tried the Chocolate Wave. WOW! Chocolate lovers will not be disappointed!
Red Lobster also has a lot of options on the menu that are budget friendly, There are 15 entrees under $15 everyday. The servings are the same size and quality as before. The four course feast is also a great value at $15.99 -which includes your choice of a cup of soup, salad, entree, and a dessert.
