I LOVE to experience unique overnights. Overnight in a Treehouse. Check. Museum. Check. Submarine. Check. Aquarium. Check. Tepee. Check. Kings Island Amusement Park. Check…..so when I found out that the Cincinnati Zoo offered family overnights where you can sleep in African Safari style tents near the giraffe area, I had to check it out!
If you live in the Cincinnati Metro, you don’t have to travel far for your own Water Wipeout experience. Land of Illusion has been making people scream for years during their Haunt Season but at their newest summer attraction, Aqua Adventures, the only screams you’ll hear are pure JOY!
I enjoy the nature side of camping but over the years, I’ve decided that I’m not a huge fan of the work that can come along with traditional camping…which is why I really enjoy glamping. Glamping still allows you to connect with nature but it also provides you with a unique overnight with modern conveniences. Our retro camper rental from Route Fifty Campers took the stress out of our camping experience.
Sliding Rock is a 60-foot natural waterslide located within the Pisgah National Forest in North Carolina that is fun for all ages.
There is a lot to discover during a visit to Ludington State Park. The state park is a popular destination for tourists and locals alike. So what makes it so great? Glad you asked….
One of our family’s favorite summer adventures is an annual trip to the drive-in movie theater. If our schedules allow, we try to squeeze a few more trips in if possible, because we have so much fun! The drive-in is also an affordable way for families to see two first-run movies. The success of an awesome night at the drive-in comes down to a little prep work before you go. I’m sharing tips and what items to pack for the drive-in movie to help you have a great experience.
Greensboro, North Carolina offers lots of family fun for all ages! I’m sharing more about the adventures that you will want to add to your list during a visit.
I love caving and the Bowling Green, Kentucky region has a LOT of caves to explore in the area. The boys and I enjoyed several adventures at Hidden River Cave. I loved that this cave is tucked away under downtown streets of Horse Cave city and that you have options for all adventure levels.
Tucked away across the river from Cincinnati, on top of a hill that is cut by interstate 75 in Northern Kentucky, is a hidden gem of hope.
