My family LOVES amusement parks and we just happen to live close to Kings Island Amusement Park which means that we can have fun all summer long as a family. We’ve purchased the Gold Season Pass over the years to create memories together as a family. Purchasing a Gold Season Pass made us also face the decision again of whether we wanted to pay extra for the All Season Dining Plan. I’m sharing more about the dining perks so that you can determine if it’s the right option for you.
It doesn’t take much to persuade me to stop for a sweet treat….which is why a spontaneous last minute stop to check out Hi-Five Doughnuts was totally worth it!
My family tends to be pretty competitive year round, especially when it comes to college basketball tournament time every March. Each of us fills out a tournament bracket and then we determine what the prize is for the family member who gets the most correct. A big part of watching the basketball games is also enjoying the snacks. I like to keep things simple and I have some ideas that are easy for you to implement.
Do you like a challenge? Do you think that you are great at taste testing?
I have a challenge for you!
When you visit Lake Charles, Louisiana you can be guaranteed of two things. You are going to eat well and you are going to have a great time! I’m sharing the restaurants and distilleries that you will want to add to your list the next time that you visit.
You don’t have to be a huge fan of bourbon to enjoy a distillery tour in Kentucky. You can still learn a lot about the history and gain a new appreciation for the art of making bourbon.
I absolutely LOVED my visit to Annapolis, Maryland. There are sooooo many reasons why it’s a city that I want to bring my family back to. It’s a city that appeals to all of your senses. Beautiful historic buildings that provide architectural eye candy in every direction, a walkable downtown that makes it almost feel like a small town, a city rich in history and tradition, and a wonderful culinary scene located in close proximity to the water.
One of our favorite parts of visiting an area that we’ve never been to before is the local food. I’m sharing 5 restaurants in the area near Bowling Green, Kentucky that each has their own distinct charm and great food.
I was invited to tasting and tour at the Bob Evans headquarters with Ohio Pork Farmers. We got to spend time talking to the farmers over lunch as we learned more about what life is like as a modern day farmer who helps provide the pork that we find at our local grocery stores which reminded me of my visit to meet Ohio pork farmer “Uncle Squeals.” We learned so much from the farmers and we also tried lots of amazing foods created by the Bob Evans team with pork products. I was given the challenge to make one of those recipes when I got home.
