Our family has been working on little changes that we can do to make our environment better.
My boys and I even took a local landfill tour ….(yes they give educational tours) a few years ago and it really impacted us.
It was really mind-blowing to see how much waste is created collectively.
I learned on that tour that our garbage goes straight into the landfill. I had always assumed that it was sorted somewhere before it entered the landfill.
That made me realize that our family could do our part in reducing waste by making some simple changes.
