I recently attended the Children’s Theatre of Cincinnati’s production of Pinkilicious with my friend and her two daughters.
As a mom of boys, I enjoy an excuse the tap into my girlier side and share experiences with my friends who have daughters.
Based on the popular book by Victoria Kann and Elizabeth Kann, this is the tale of Pinkalicious, who can’t stop eating pink cupcakes despite warnings from her parents. Her pink indulgence lands her at the doctor’s office with Pinkititis, an affliction that turns her pink from head to toe – a dream come true for this pink-loving enthusiast. But when her hue goes too far, only Pinkalicious can figure out a way to get out of this pink predicament.
The cast of the musical had a lot of energy and my favorite part was the scene at the Doctor’s office.
My friend’s little girls said they really enjoyed the show and you’ve still got time to check it out!
You can still see “PINKALICIOUS The Musical,” at The Children’s Theatre of Cincinnati
