The entire community is invited to experience this ultimate wine weekend featuring 700 wines from 200 wineries visiting from around the world all in support of 35 local charities.
Events include winery dinners, education sessions, grand tastings and more.

What to Expect at the Cincinnati International Wine Festival
The Cincinnati International Wine Festival is one of the largest of its kind in the country.
More than 5,000 people attended last year’s events, and even more are expected this year.
The weekend-long celebration consists of grand tastings, gourmet dining, education sessions, a NEW collectors tasting room, a charity auction and luncheon, silent auction and more.
The wine festival weekend consists of:
- Limited seating winery dinners held at Cincinnati’s finest restaurants;
- Access to 700 wines from 200 wineries during the grand tastings;
- Small bites to nibble on while you sniff, swirl and sip away;
- A fun photo booth with props to capture your perfect IG pose;
- Education sessions, a collectors tasting room, silent auctions and more.
… all in support of 35 local charities dedicated to the arts, education, health, and human services.
Thursday, March 12
The festival kicks off with winery dinners the evening of Thursday, March 12, where guests will simultaneously enjoy the best of fine wines and fine dining at more than a dozen of Cincinnati’s most prestigious restaurants.
One price covers each five-course dining experience offering one-of-a-kind menus crafted alongside carefully chosen wine pairings presented exclusively by each restaurant’s winery representative.
Friday & Saturday March 13 & 14
The festival continues March 13 and 14 at the Duke Energy Convention Center with a variety of wine tasting and education sessions featuring NEW topics such as Sake 101, old world vs. new world and unique global gems.
Friday night’s grand tasting experience has been touted as the “best happy hour in town.”
At the grand tastings, guests will sample a variety of classic, rare and exotic wines, together with delectable bites provided by dozens of Cincinnati foodie favorites.
Charity Luncheon and Auction
A charity luncheon and auction on March 14 features limited-release and rare wines coaxed from the cellars of notable Cincinnatians, chef’s table dining opportunities at exclusive Cincinnati homes, fantastic trips, wine cellar tours and more.
Support 35 Local Charities With Each Wine Ticket
Each wine festival ticket purchased directly benefits 35 local charities with programs dedicated to the arts, education, health, and human services.
The festival has donated more than $6 million to local charities since its inception thanks to the support and patronage of the Greater Cincinnati community.

I can’t believe that the Cincinnati International Wine Festival has been happening for 30 years and benefits 35 local charities. I’ve never been, and I don’t think I’ve ever heard of it either. I like drinking wine. I love learning about wine as I try different types I might not otherwise know about. This sounds like an amazing date night opportunity for my husband and I.
