During a visit to the Children’s Museum of Indianapolis, I was in awe of one of the displays.
I loved the 43 ft Glass Tower “Fireworks of Glass” so much that I decided that it would be better to dedicate one blog post to showcase all of my pictures of it.
The tower was created in by the incredible artist, Dale Chihuly. The tower weighs 18,000 pounds and contains 3200 pieces of blown glass!
You can walk the ramp to get great views of the top of the piece.
You also get another perspective of the base of the piece from the top floor.
The lower level gives you views of the base.
You can also see a close up of the glass pieces from a clear window on the side.
The lowest level of the museum allows you to see the sculpture from underneath.
There is even a circular chair that rotates that allows you to really sit in wonder.
There is also an area where kids can play with plastic pieces to create their own sculpture.
This piece is absolutely incredible and worth taking in views at every angle possible!
