Mexican food is one of the few styles that I can actually cook well. Maybe that’s because it’s my favorite. I was given some items from Kroger’s Taste of Mexico selection to sample.
I decided to make something that was easy, fast, that would taste good. Carnitas are always a hit in our house.
Usually, the longest part is the meat but I used the Kroger Brand precooked seasoned pork carnitas. They only took a few minutes to heat in the microwave.
We used Queso Fresco, corn and flour tortillas, salsa, cilantro, and lime.
I made guacamole with two avocados, salsa, salt, and lime juice.
This meal is easy and tastes great.
