Have you tried a green bagel before?

We tried our first one from Bruegger’s at a St. Patrick’s Day parade in Cincinnati. I later toured a Bruegger’s Bagels store location to learn more about how they make their bagels. You can read more about that here. 

 

Bruegger’s Bagels is getting into the St. Patrick’s Day fun with green bagels baked fresh throughout the day in each of its Cincinnati area locations starting Saturday, March 15 through Monday, March 17 (while supplies last).

 

 

Bruegger’s Bagels will celebrate St. Patrick’s Day by baking up festive shamrock-green bagels in its 300 bakeries starting Saturday, March 15, through Monday, March 17 (while supplies last).Hundreds of thousands of the lucky bagels have been baked since 1997 when a bakery in Pittsburgh started the tradition. Like all of Bruegger’s Bagels’ authentic New York-style bagels, the famous green bagels are kettle-boiled and baked fresh throughout the day in each of its bakeries.

Green bagels can be enjoyed plain, with one of nearly 15 varieties of 100 percent made-in-Vermont cream cheese, or as part of a breakfast or lunch sandwich.

Can’t eat just one? Bruegger’s Bagels e-club members will also receive coupons for $2 off the chain’s Big Bagel Bundle, 13 bagels with two tubs of Vermont cream cheese, redeemable March 15-17.

Green bagels will be sold Saturday, March 15, through Monday, March 17 (while supplies last), during regular bakery hours at participating locations.
