I first discovered DryCASE from a few instagram accounts that I follow who used the product on their adventures. That made me do a little research to find out how this product could be used for a few of my adventures.
The first adventure that I used the DryCASE on was during a kayaking adventure on Lake Erie near Put in Bay island.
I was a little nervous about trusting my phone to a case with all of my most recent pictures on it that I needed to use for upcoming posts.
The process for using a DryCase is really simple.
1st – I had to take my phone out of my Otterbox Case.
2nd- Slip my phone into the plastic casing.
3rd- Position my camera where I wanted it. Make sure you notice where your camera lens will be.
4th- Close the clasp at the top and turn the knobs
5th- Use the pump to remove all of the access air
I used the lanyard so that I didn’t accidentally lose it in the water. I was really surprised at the quality of the pictures. They turned out really clear!
The DryCASE also took great pictures underwater too!
Next, I tried the DryCASE at The Color Run in Cincinnati.
When you are running through a rainbow of color you don’t want to ruin your phone.
The DryCASE passed the test and was really easy to wipe off after the race.
The next adventure that I tried with my DryCASE was on the Zip Rush Tour at ZipZone Adventures.
I’ve been ziplining several times before and it’s nice to have a option that allows you to use your phone without losing it.
Later that fall I used the DryCASE for another zipline tour in the rain at Ozone Zipline Adventures River Tour. I was really grateful that I didn’t have to worry about my phone getting wet and that I could still take pictures during our tour.
The DryCASE Smartphone Case retails for $39.99.
You can find out more about DryCASE from their website.
Disclosure: I was given the DryCASE for review purposes. All opinions are my own.
