I recently attended the preview night for Cucinova’s newest location that is located near Kenwood Mall in Cincinnati. I was really excited to check out their Italian food that’s served Chipotle style where you pick all of the ingredients and your food is made to order in front of you.
Encouraging individual expression through culinary creativity, the Cucinova menu features create-your-own Neapolitan pizzas, along with customizable spaghettini pasta bowls and salads, all for only $6.99. The menu, inspired by the flavors of Italy, encourages inventiveness, asking guests, “What’ll you create today?”
Guests of Cucinova line up at a workstation to create their own masterpiece or choose from a chef-created specialty. Each artisan pizza starts with hand stretched dough, made from scratch every day.
Guests will have their choice of more than 25 toppings to choose from, including fresh whole milk mozzarella and fire-roasted veggies.
After ingredients are selected, artisans fire each pizza in a Wood Stone oven at a temperature of 700 degrees in three minutes or less.
In addition to its customizable pizzas, pastas and salads, Cucinova will also offer domestic and craft beer and wine. Special happy hour pricing will also be available.
I loved the atmosphere inside Cucinova. The set up is welcoming for larger groups and meeting up with friends.
My friend and I couldn’t decide what to get, so we opted for one of each!
My pizza was a variation of Cincy’s Finest and my friend got the Greek Goddess. You can submit your pizza creation combo idea and you might even see it featured on the Urban Legends Board.

I opted for the creamy parmesan on whole grain penne pasta with meatballs for my pasta dish.
For the salad, I mixed up the greens and added a Light Balsamic dressing with a few veggies.
All of our food tasted delicious! The biggest challenge is trying to figure out your combination. There is no wrong way to do it and the best part is that you can be the boss of your creation.
Cucinova will be open
Monday – Thursday, 11am to 10pm,
Friday & Saturday, 11am – 11pm
Sunday, 11am – 9pm.

I would try a cheese and pepperoni pizza! I love fancy pizza, don’t get me wrong. But a place has to have a great “basic” pizza for us!
Looks yummy!
This place looks delicious!
I love mushrooms. So, as many mushrooms that can fit on a pizza would be my choice! Plus, the salad looks so yummy!
My pizza combo would be sausage, mushrooms, banana peppers, and pineapple!
I’m like you, I’d want to try it all!
I definitely want to try the pizza but it all sounds pretty amazing!
