Why you should check out Cantina Laredo

Need an excuse to try somewhere new?

My husband and I discovered  Cantina Laredo for the 1st time for a late lunch during a visit to Liberty Center Shopping Center and the food exceeded our expectations! Cantina Laredo takes a modern twist on Mexican dishes and the results are wonderful.

What I Ordered

I tried a few of their newer menu items that were both wonderful! The Carne Asada (Grilled skirt steak with house marinated onions on a bed of chimichurri sauce with whole roasted jalapeno, avocado, black beans and cilantro lime rice) was not something that I would typically order, but I’m so glad that I did! The flavor combination was perfect.

I also tried the “Wild Flip” to drink that was made with Wild Turkey Bourbon, Monin Blood Orange Syrup, fresh lemon and simple syrup, topped with a Wild Turkey, orange zest, mint leaf and Bordeaux cherry lime boat.

Save Room for Dessert

I know that it’s hard to save room for dessert so I would recommend saving some of your entree to enjoy for leftovers the following day and splitting a dessert if you are really full. We really enjoyed the Mango Tres Leches cake made with creamy mango vanilla cake with mango cream sauce…..in the name of research.

The Atmosphere

The atmosphere is contemporary and relaxed which makes it great for a meal out with friends, family, or a date. To avoid the crowds, try visiting during an off-peak meal time.

Cantina also has daily lunch specials and happy hours that you can take advantage of, as well as periodic drink specials and seasonal drinks.

I’ve been given a $50 gift card to Cantina Laredo for 1 lucky reader
