Do you have the need for speed?
Full Throttle Indoor Karting will help you get your fix.
We took our boys for their first experience driving their own go-karts.
We went on a Saturday evening around 8pm. It’s recommended that you make a reservation ahead of time for parties 6 or more. There is a blackout for reservations from 6pm and beyond on Saturdays due to walk in crowds.
It’s recommended that you arrive 30 minutes before your race time because you need to fill out a waiver and watch a safety video.
After the video you get your helmet and safety gear.
The jumpsuit is optional.
I’ve worn one before but they can get warm so I opted not to this time.
Next, you can observe other races while you wait for your heat to come up.
My husband and I raced each other first.
We are pretty competitive and were determined to win our 8 minute heat.
I won’t zoom in too close so that you can’t see how bad he beat me.
In my defense, I did have someone tap me from behind which threw off my concentration…sounds good right??? Adult karts can reach speeds up to around 40 mph.
Our boys raced after us in a slower heat.
Kids can start racing at 8 years old and must be 48 inches. They ride in special karts that go around 25mph.
There is an observation area, video games and a place for slot car racing that you can check out before or after your race. There are also a few concession items for sale.
If you are competitive, the time to beat is by Conner, who is pictured below with one of the managers at Full Throttle, named Evan…. who also has a fantastic beard. He set the new track record with 27.2!
Full Throttle is a fun adrenaline rush that is perfect for a date night, or hanging out with family or friends.
