A Smoky Mountain Vacation at Gatlinburg Falls Resort

When you visit the Smoky Mountains Region, you are faced with A LOT of options when it comes to where you stay.

Where do you even begin?

We were invited to check out what the Gatlinburg Falls Resort has to offer for a Smoky Mountain vacation.

Our Stay in the Mountain Majesty Retreat Cabin

We stayed at the Mountain Majesty Retreat cabin:

3 King bedrooms with adjoining private baths that included a vertical jetted shower spa, hot tub, arcade games, 5 Televisions, air hockey, pool table, electric fireplace, 2 half baths, satellite, WIFI, full kitchen, 2 decks, and a home theater.  

So basically we wanted to move in forever. Seriously.

My friend joined me with her family and everyone had plenty of space to enjoy the cabin. We also had a large table with seating for 10 for family dinners.

The kitchen had all of the basics that you would need from pans to dishes. We did forget coffee filters so don’t forget coffee filters…. or coffee. If coffee is an essential part of your day!

We did notice that our stove and a few nearby outlets were not working when we went to use them. I found that it was faster to talk to the person at the front desk in person than to wait on the phone.

Once Ryan from the front desk was aware of our need, he sent maintenance to immediately take care of it and all electricity to that part of the kitchen was restored within a few minutes.

The Game Room

The kids were immediately in heaven in the lower level of the cabin. They had hours of fun and the amenities made it really hard for them to want to leave to go anywhere.

Views from the Deck

I absolutely loved the Smoky Mountain views from our cabin!

Hot Tub Views

It was so relaxing to take the time to enjoy the views from our deck inside the hot tub too. 

It was also really peaceful sitting on the rocking chairs during the mornings and evenings of our stay.

I also enjoyed that we were located less than 5 minutes from downtown Gatlinburg, which is the best of both worlds if you want great views and convenience. If you are visiting attractions at Dollywood or Pigeon Forge, you are only 15 minutes away.

Community Pool

There is also a pool, workout facility, and convention center on sight at the property.

Our Crew

Gatlinburg Falls Resort was family tested and kid-approved. The hardest part was having to leave!
