I love discovering unexpected places during my travels. During a visit to Columbus, my coworker and I decided to walk around the German Village neighborhood after a visit to The Thurman Cafe.
I like to have a few places to visit ahead of time but I also love doing a little on-site research to find hidden gems.

That’s how I found out about The Book Loft of German Village. It was a recommendation by locals and it also happens to be one of the largest independent bookstores in the nation.

As we approached the book store, I grew even more excited. It was so beautiful at night!

There were lots of flowers on the path to the entrance.

Once you are inside the bookstore you are faced with a variety of options. There are 32 rooms packed with LOTS of books!

I started at one end and then did my best to work my way to discovering all 32 rooms.

I will admit that I got lost a few times. Each room can start to look the same after a while.
