I love when we get to share an adventure together as a family. We discovered lots of ways to play during our first visit to Main Event Entertainment.
So what did we love about our visit to Main Event?
The Specials
Our strategy for our first visit was to do a quick walk around to check out the activities at Main Event and then make purchases for everything that we wanted to do.
We found the best value to be the special wrist band that allowed us to bowl, play laser tag, access to billiards and shuffleboard, and the gravity ropes course for a price lower than each activity individually.
That worked out great because we wanted to do everything!
There was even a special on the reloadable game cards too. Also, Main Event Offers a lot of specials throughout the week
You have multiple dining options
After we purchased our wristbands, we chose to eat first. Once we are in play mode, it’s hard to get everyone to want to sit down and eat.
We ate near the sports bar so that the boys could keep up on the scores of the games while we enjoyed giant burgers with creative toppings.
There is also La Bella’s Pizza which is a casual cafe. They have pizza by the whole or by the slice along with other fast-casual menu items.
Another option is to purchase food while you bowl. The seating area at the bowling alley allows everyone to eat and drink in comfort while playing.
If you have a large group there is plenty of extra seating at tables by the bowling alley for parties along with additional private rooms.
Speaking of bowling, we absolutely LOVED the bowling alley!
Animated Bowling at Main Event
Bowling is normally lots of fun BUT animated bowling took the game to the next level. We LOVED the features that allowed us to take and use silly pictures of ourselves that were featured during our bowling game.
The system creates animated bowling shorts using your images that are really funny. It’s a great way to personalize your game and add something different to your bowling experience.
We seriously laughed so hard when we watched our images on the screen. So much fun!
Challenge Yourself on the Indoor High Ropes Course at Main Event
Main Event offers a few activities that will get your heart pumping.
You can burn off some energy by challenging yourself on the high ropes course. You are harnessed in and get to choose your own adventure of difficulty on the course.
My whole family enjoyed tackling the harder parts of the Gravity ropes course. This is an activity that’s fun for both adults and kids.
Another active adventure is the multilevel laser tag course. I love laser tag because it’s as competitive as you want it to be. You get a nickname with your equipment and can find out your score after your game is over. I personally only try to remember the times when my score is higher than my family members.
Here is a laser tag pro tip- Don’t wear white for laser tag because you will be easy to spot under a blacklight.
Open Concept and Plenty of Leisure Options
The open concept at Main Event allowed us to move around easily between the activities and games.
I loved the one-on-one time playing pool and challenging my kids to a video game. The atmosphere is family-friendly but it’s also an environment that adults will enjoy if they are kids free.
Main Event is a lot of fun for kids….. or kids at heart. Either way, it’s a great place to create memories with friends or family.
Make sure that you mark your calendars to visit Main Event for FREE fun on October 10 for national Head for Fun day.

Wow! I didn’t even know this existed. Thanks for writing about it. I definitely want to check it out with the family. I think they’d love the animated bowling and high ropes course. I’m sure they’d love it all though
