If you are a basketball fan, you will definitely want to check out The College Basketball Experience in Kansas City, Missouri. You don’t have to be a big fan of basketball to enjoy your time there and if you are a big basketball fan, you will never want to leave!
So what makes this experience so great?
Because EXPERIENCE is what you will do!
This is not a museum, it’s a place where you experience college basketball through interactive play and exhibits.
The College Basketball Experience is a 41,500 square ft basketball playground on two floors.
I would highly recommend that you dress accordingly for your 1st visit because you will most likely get a little sweaty if you choose to play…..and let’s be honest, it’s WAY more fun to play!
National Collegiate Basketball Hall of Fame
The College Basketball Experience houses the National Collegiate Basketball Hall of Fame. Visitors will enjoy a trip down memory lane with sights and sounds of some of their favorite college basketball teams.
I added this giant Michigan mural for my family members who are die-hard Michigan fans.
During your visit, you can focus on specific elements of basketball throughout both floors of the building and get inspired by stories about former college players and coaches.
Work on Your Basketball Skills
Practice your slam dunk, beat the buzzer, and more with hoops geared for almost every height.
You can also learn more about the college players and envision what it would be like to literally fill their shoes.
The lower level of The Basketball Experience offers lots of additional play as well.
Kids Court
Younger kids ages 2-9 will have a blast on the activities geared just for them. The Big Shot Ball is perfect for them to practice working on a slam dunk. They can also work on their shooting skills and accuracy with fun interactive games.
The Basketball Experience is a fun way to experience and learn more about the sport of basketball that’s fun for all ages.
