One of my favorite forms of social media is Instagram. I LOVE checking out photos of friends and travelers. I also really enjoy taking pictures.
I’ve been a contributor for Cincinnati USA’s Livin In The Cin campaign over the past few months where myself and a few other local bloggers highlight hidden gems in our city.
My third mission from Cincinnati USA was to “Photograph one or more things, places, people, etc. that represent the challenge word given and show off reasons you are excited to live in Cincinnati USA.”

This image was taken at Spring Grove Cemetery which is absolutely beautiful in the fall.
This image was taken at mirror lake in Eden Park which also hosts the Krohn Conservatory and the Cincinnati Art Museum.
My boys LOVE to visit the University of Cincinnati campus to toss the football around.
Washington Park in Over the Rhine is one of our favorite parks to visit. There is always something fun to do there.
Ziplining at the largest course in the midwest located at Creation Museum created lots of great memories and smiles.
The view from Devou Park makes me smile and appreciate the diverse landscape that our tristate area offers.

Cathedral Basilica of the Assumption is a gorgeous display of color with stain glass windows at every angle. I’ve driven by it many times but it’s worth taking the time to really appreciate the inside.
California Woods Nature Center was a new discovery that I found this fall with lots of trails and beautiful scenery.
The beautiful murals downtown by Artworks artists are what make our downtown buildings shine.
Cyclones games always have tons of action and fun promo nights. These light sabers were a great kick off to a recent Star Wars themed night.
We have an incredible arts community and the Cincinnati Pops Orchestra adds so much energy to every performance.
I love that you can find people at Washington Park at all hours. The view of Music Hall is always gorgeous in any light. I always feel more alive every time I go downtown.
Cincinnati has so much history to uncover. We recently went on the Underground Tour by American Legacy Tours and learned so much about our city.

Beer has also been a huge part of Cincinnat’s history and this former lager tunnel has so many interesting stories.
This beautiful old church is being brought back to life with another purpose in the Over the Rhine neighborhood.
The art deco facade of the Cincinnati Museum Center at Union Terminal offers history inside and out plus three great museums inside.
These pictures are just a small sample of all of the reasons that I love Livin in the Cin.
