During a recent trip to Gatlinburg, Tennessee, we stayed at the Greystone Lodge On The River.
There are several reasons why I would recommend staying here if you have an upcoming trip to Gatlinburg, Tennessee.
1. Greystone Lodge is located in Downtown Gatlinburg
The Greystone Lodge On the River is located in the heart of downtown Gatlinburg which means you can walk to most attractions.
This saves you travel time and the hassle of finding a parking spot downtown.
You can literally walk across the street to Ripley’s Aquarium from the Greystone Lodge.
2. The Scenic Views from your room at Greystone Lodge
You have great views of the mountains and the creek below your balcony.
You can also see some of the downtown areas from your balcony.
3. Family Suites at Greystone Lodge
We stayed in the two-room family suite at Greystone Lodge.
It had a queen bed in one room, a bunk bed with a twin size bed on top, and a full-size bed below with 1.5 bathrooms.
Our room had three flat panel tv’s which meant that everyone could watch whatever they wanted.
The extra bathroom was also really helpful when everyone was getting ready.
4. You Can Save Money on Meals at Greystone Lodge
The Family Suite has a kitchenette area with a Mini fridge, coffee maker and microwave.
This is another great way for families to save money. You can bring your own snacks and reheat leftovers from your dinners out.
It’s also nice to be able to refrigerate your drinks before you take them on a hike.
The close location to the strip makes it easy to come back to your room for a snack if you need to.
5. Free Onsite Parking Garage at Greystone Lodge
It was extremely convenient to pull into the specific floor that our suite was on and walk a short distance to our room.
The are several doors from the parking garage that are marked with rooms number so that you can park very close to your room.
An onsite parking garage included with your stay saves you money because you don’t have to pay to park somewhere else.
6 The relaxing view with morning coffee
I know that I already mentioned the view but it’s amazing to listen to the sound of rushing water as you drink your morning coffee.
It was raining a lot during our visit but I didn’t care. The views of the mountains and the water were still very relaxing. I also enjoyed sitting on the balcony at night too.
7. Free Hot Continental Breakfast is included with your stay at Greystone Lodge
You can save a lot of money by not having to buy breakfast. My boys and I really enjoyed the biscuits and gravy.
There are plenty of other breakfast items to choose from too.
8. There is an outdoor pool at Greystone Lodge
The location, amenities, parking and free breakfast make The Greystone Lodge On The River a great option for your next visit to Gatlinburg.
