My family was invited to stay as guests at Prairie Guest House during our visit to Conner Prairie in Fishers, Indiana.
Prairie Guest House B&B is a mid-1800’s Gothic farmhouse conveniently located across the street from Conner Prairie Interactive History Park.
The property houses a yoga studio where guests can attend classes for an additional fee.
My boys discovered a few hula hoops by the parking area and immediately went into competition mode.
They ended up playing with the hula hoops before and after we checked out our room.

Tour of the Talbott Room at Prairie Guest House
We stayed in the Talbott Room. The room had two queen size beds with a private bath.
Access to a Swimming Pool in the Summer
One of the perks of staying at Prairie Guest House is complimentary access to a really nice pool down the road. My boys had a blast at the pool.
A Great Place to Eat Near Prairie Guesthouse
For dinner, we were invited to check out Big Hoffa’s Smokehouse Barbeque located at 800 E Main St, Westfield, IN 46074.
This place is a MUST if you love BBQ!
You know it’s a good sign when there is a wait to the door. This restaurant is only 15 minutes away from Prairie Guest House.
Play at Morse Park and Beach

After our amazing dinner, we needed to burn off some energy.
I was really spontaneous and tried to find the closest body of water from Big Hoffa’s.
We ended up at Morse Park and Beach which is great for kids. The park has a nice playground and lots of seating near the water.
This is another nice option if you are looking for another place to take your family swimming.
Breakfast at Prairie Guest House
In the morning we enjoyed a wonderful breakfast in an early 1900’s cottage house.
There is plenty of seating at the long table and several small tables.
Watch the Balloon Rise at Conner Prairie
After breakfast, I took my coffee to the deck to watch the balloon at Conner Prairie across the street.
