Located in Irving, Texas, the boutique hotel is well branded and a throwback in the best kind of way.

Normally, I’m not a huge fan of motel style accommodation setups because they are typically outdated.
The Texican Court changed my mind because it gives you the nostalgic feel of a motel but with Texas flair and modern amenities.
It’s a Throwback in the Best Kind of Way
As you walk into the Texican you’ll be transported back in time to Old Texas. The laid back atmosphere of the relaxed boutique hotel is perfect for families, couples, or girlfriend getaway.
The style of the boutique hotel is refreshing and the kitchy ambiance changes things up from your typical overnight accommodations.
It’s All About the Details
From the cool “TX” on my bathroom tile to the branded embroidered sheets, the Texican Court knows how to create an experience from the moment that you walk into the room.
I instantly fell in love.
Take a Look Inside a Room at the Texican Court
The Old Texas-themed room is stylish and designed with the traveler in mind with a modern twist. The Texican Court blends a great mix of new and old.
You can charge your phone on the nightstand, next to the vintage-looking alarm clock. The sliding barn door leading to the bathroom gives you privacy and more space in the room.
Room Options at the Texican Court
The relaxed luxury hotel has several room options to choose from to meet the needs of every style traveler.
- Classic Room -Custom king bed or two full-size beds
- Delux Room -Custom king bed or two full-size beds
- Junior Suite – Oversized bathrooms with double vanity, living area with sofa & dining table for four
- Presidential Suite- Two-room suite with separate living and bedroom area, living area with sofa & dining table for four
You’ll find plenty of room in the private bathroom stocked with designer toiletries.
It was easy to get a great night’s sleep on the plush Stearns & Foster pillowtop bed topped with luxurious Egyptian cotton linens.
In case you forgot snacks, your room has you covered.
If you forgot something there is a good chance it’s in your SMEG fridge
The refrigerator inside your room is STOCKED.
Seriously, if you can’t find something that you love to drink in the retro style SMEG fridge, I can’t help you.
You Can Bring Home One of Their Colorful Robes
You’ll find a colorful robe displayed in your bathroom that you will definitely want to take back home with you.
The good news is that you can purchase one from the gift shop along with lots of other cool t-shirts.
I absolutely LOVE my robe from the Texican!
The robe is really lightweight and the bright colors put a smile on my face each time that I wear it.
The Courtyard Areas Are Magical
When you are relaxing in the courtyard during the day or at night it’s hard to believe that you are still close to everything in Irving in this urban oasis.
Kick back with a drink and enjoy a fireside chat with friends new or old in the outdoor space.
I enjoyed relaxing with my morning coffee in the courtyard and it was also nice to sit around the fire pits at night.
There are two different courtyard sections. One courtyard is outside of the Two Mules Cantina restaurant and the other is on the opposite side of Salt Tequila Bar.
You Can Roast Marshmallows
There are S’More kits available for purchase at the front desk if you want the campfire experience.
The Texican Court Location is Super Convenient
The Texican Court is located in the heart of Las Colinas. This allows you to be close to all of the action and you don’t need to drive if you don’t want to.
Business travelers can walk to the Irving Convention Center in Las Colinas located directly across the street from the 4-star hotel.(pictured above)
It’s easy to have a fun time with The Toyota Music Factory concert venue, restaurants, and shops within a short walk from the Texican Court.
The Toyota Music Factory is a great venue to experience the Texas music scene and large national acts. I don’t think there is a bad seat in the house.
I highly recommend eating at Gloria’s Latin Cuisine before.
If you in town to watch a big game you are only 5 miles from Texas Stadium.

You can opt to dine inside or there is a seating area in the courtyard that perfect for a sunny day.
If you want more breakfast options you can purchase a hot breakfast at the Two Mules Cantina Restaurant too.
How to Save on Your Overnight Stay at the Texican Court
The location, the attention to detail, and even more surprising, the price is another reason to stay at the Texican.
I was shocked at how reasonable the prices were, especially because of its convenient location. This is an affordable option for all budgets.

A Pet-Friendly Option
If you are traveling with your dog, you’ll discover that the Texican Court is a great pet-friendly option.
The hotel requires $50 non-refundable pet fees, per pet, that will be assessed at check-in. There is a maximum of 2 pets per room weighing no more than 70 pounds each.
