Have you heard of an ice ball before?
An ice ball is a combination of a snow cone and ice cream that’s a great warm-weather treat.
The ice balls are served at Schneider’s Sweet Shop in Bellevue, Ky.
Schneider’s has been serving the Tri-state community since 1939 and makes their own ice cream.
They also make their own specialty candies. A local favorite is the Opera cream which has a center made with sugar, milk, and cream that is coated in dark or milk chocolate.
It was created years ago by an old German candy maker for the Cincinnati Opera and gets its delicious flavor from the natural ingredients.
Pick Your Ice Ball Flavor Combination
It took us a while to try to figure out what would be the best ice/ ice cream combo.
My younger son chose the rainbow flavored ice with superman flavored ice cream.
I chose the amaretto with coffee ice cream.
My older son picked Tiger’s Blood ice with blue ice cream.
This fun combination of two of summer’s must-haves is bound to make you smile.
Schneider’s Sweet Shop is located at
I’ll have to try that one!
The nectar ice ball with vanilla or Peach ice cream makes me SCREAM for ice cream!
