Unlimited Hours of Fun for All Ages at Dave & Buster’s

Our family was invited to check out the new Dave & Buster’s restaurant/entertainment complex located in Florence, KY. 

Dave & Buster’s in Florence, Kentucky

The Florence location is the 86th location for Dave & Buster’s which was founded in 1982 and is headquartered in Dallas, TX.

Upon arrival, one of my first observations was the open concept in a 30,000 sq. ft building.

The 360-degree sports bar is located close to the entrance when you walk in.

There are 37 TVs ranging from 50 inches to 190 inches that make a sports lover’s dreams come true. 

Rooms for Private Parties

There is a large room designated for private parties and large groups for birthdays, work parties, team building, etc.

The large room can also be separated into two rooms depending on the number of guests. The sports lounge can also be rented out.

We decided to eat first because we knew that our kids would not want to stop playing games once they started.

We ate in the dining area that features giant images from Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky.

The Restaurant at Dave & Buster’s

If you are dining during your visit to Dave & Buster’s you’ll discover that the food is really good! The menu items also appeal to adults and kids. 

Crispy Steak ’N’ Cheese Tater Cakes

For an appetizer, we tried the Crispy Steak ’N’ Cheese Tater Cakes (Shredded potato cakes served crispy brown and loaded with thinly sliced steak and melted cheese.

Topped with sautéed onions, fresh tomatoes, and green onions, and served with horseradish sour cream.)

Glow Kones

My kids were really excited about trying the Glow Kones. There are lots of creative cocktails including Glow Kones for adults too.

Bang Bang Chicken

I ordered the Bang Bang Chicken with spicy Thai peanut noodles. I was already craving pad thai which confirmed my menu selection. (Tender crispy boneless chicken tossed in spicy Bang Bang sauce served on a bed of noodles tossed with Asian vegetables and spicy peanut sauce.)

There is Sriracha sauce available on request if you are like me and think that the hotter the better.

Buffalo Wing Burger

My husband ordered the BUFFALO WING Burger* (A half-pound burger seared and seasoned, topped with crispy chicken tenders tossed in our buffalo wing sauce, bleu cheese, frazzled onion strings, and celery, served on a toasted brioche bun with crispy seasoned tots.)

Caveman Combo

My older son ordered the Caveman Combo (Individual “St. Louis-style” pork ribs tossed in a chili honey soy glaze served with four mini-cheeseburgers on Hawaiian rolls and seasoned french fries.)

Kid’s Pretzel Dogs

My younger son ordered the Kid’s Pretzel dogs. (Meaty all-beef franks wrapped in sweet pretzel dough, baked fresh and served with seasoned french fries)

I was really impressed with the unique take on traditional American food.

Even though we boxed up a large portion of our dinner, we still rallied and tried the dessert. You have to have priorities right?

Brookie Sundae Tower

For dessert, we tried the BrookiE sundae tower. (‘Brookie,’ a fun mix of two favorites – a giant chocolate brownie & chocolate chip cookie made with ghirardelli® chocolate chips, baked into one warm & gooey delicious package – topped with vanilla ice cream and chocolate & caramel sauces.)

Confession-we ate all of it even though we were really full. It was really good!

Games at Dave & Buster’s

There are over 150 of the latest & greatest games including Ghostbusters, Star Wars Battle Pod and Zombie Snatcher. Dave & Buster’s has several games that are exclusive to them.

A green light around the card reader on a game means that it is a ticket game and a blue light is a regular game.

Be on the look for Play Me free signs above select video games that rotate.

When you purchase a $10 Game Card, you can play select Play Me games one time for free.

As a family, we had a blast playing quad-air hockey and racing each other on Super Mario Kart.

There are plenty of nice prizes to choose from if you choose to play ticket-style games.

My kids could have stayed there all night if we had let them…..the parents were having fun too.
