My family fell in love with Pittsburgh during our visit. I loved the bridges and architecture but there were also lots of kid friendly things to do in Pittsburgh too.

Duquesne Incline in Pittsburgh

1. The Duquesne Incline

The ride on the incline is a really unique experience. You can also learn about the history of inclines when you reach the top.

Pittsburgh Gateway Clipper

2. Gateway Clipper Pirate Cruise

The Gateway Clipper Pirate Cruise combines fun activities for the kids with breathtaking scenes of the city.

Children's Museum of Pittsburgh

3. Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh

There is lots of fun and hands-on activities at the Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh. Kids can create, move, play, explore and learn through a variety of exhibits.

Heinz History Center Sports Museum

4. Heinz History Center Sports Museum

The Heinz History Center Sports Museum is a MUST for any sports fan. Even if you are not that into sports, you will still find the exhibits interesting.

Pittsburgh Zoo & PPG Aquarium

5.Pittsburgh Zoo and PGG Aquarium

The Pittsburgh Zoo and PGG Aquarium have a great variety of animals and sea life to discover. Kids can also burn off some energy at the giant playground.

There are so many things to do in Pittsburgh. You really can’t go wrong with any of the options listed above. My boys had a great time at each attraction.

Disclosure: Visit Pittsburgh provided my accommodation, meals, and admissions for my participation in their media trip. All opinions are my own.
