A Bed and Breakfast in Trenton Ohio That You Need to Check Out 2

Every now and then I enjoy mixing up our accommodations when we visit a city. We decided that a Bed and Breakfast would be a nice change of pace during our overnight visit to Bulter County, Ohio.

Carriage Lane Bed & Breakfast in Trenton Ohio

Carriage Lane Bed & Breakfast was built in the mid-1800s and offers amazing breakfast and beautiful accommodations that bring southern hospitality to the north.

The Location of the B&B

Located in Trenton, Ohio, Carriage Lane Bed & Breakfast is currently the only B&B in town.

It’s conveniently located 20 minutes from Miami University and can reach lots of shopping and entertainment options within 20 minutes in neighboring cities as well.

The Common Area

This area really added to the experience and helped us feel more at home. There were board games, candies, a stocked mini-fridge, Keurig, and a TV with plenty of seating.

Sunnybrook Loft

The Sunnybrook Loft is a common area positioned between and shared by the guests of both bedrooms. If you book both rooms the daybeds in the common area are also great for additional guests.

The Bedrooms

The Faye Suite sleeps 2 and has a queen victorian bed with step stools on each side of the bed and a private bath with a separate shower.

The Pearl Suite is decorated in a classic Americana theme with a queen bed and a full-size bed.

I really appreciated all of the decorating details in each room. The design was thoughtful and gave you many reasons to take a second look. I loved the vintage comic books and old photos on the wall.

The bathroom for our stay was recently remodeled with a double vanity sink, soaking tub, and a large shower with great water pressure.

One of the best parts about staying at a Bed and Breakfast is breakfast and Carriage Lane did not disappoint.

We were greeted by a beautifully decorated table spread with goodies that appealed to everyone’s taste buds.

Breakfast at Carriage Lane

Fresh berries, yogurt, homemade pumpkin bread, peach oatmeal, biscuits and gravy, mini donuts, bacon, hashbrown casserole, and sausage-egg biscuits. I almost forgot to mention that 3/4 of the jams were homemade.

Safe to say that we didn’t have much of an appetite for lunch after such an incredible breakfast.

In the summer months, guests can enjoy the in-ground pool, outdoor fireplace, and large decks perfect for watching the birds.

The owners’ Glen and Eileen were wonderful hosts who were so easy to talk to.

Make sure that you remember to ask about the renovation process and also make sure that you ask Glen to see his rare classic car. It’s a beauty!

You can find out more information about booking your stay at the Carriage Lane Bed and Breakfast website.

KIA Cadenza

Thanks again to KIA for providing 2017 Cadenza our road trip vehicle and Butler County, Ohio for hosting our visit.

I was at this B&B two years ago and I really must say that Glen was an amazing host. I hope to come back there one-day 🙂 Thanks for this post.

I was surprised to see this on Facebook. Glen and I are cousins. It’s a beautiful place.
