The Holiday Train Display is still going on at the Krohn Conservatory.
Outside the Conservatory is a live nativity that has been an annual tradition since 1939.
There are several animals inside by the manger and also outside that younger audiences will especially enjoy.
Inside the Krohn Conservatory there is a wide range of plant life and beautiful Christmas decorations.
“A Cincinnati Scenic Railway celebrates the rich history of the beautiful Queen City and its 7 hills which embraces a rich history of architecture, parks, food, music, and culture.”
The Holiday Train Display has an interactive exhibit where guests can put their hands on the handprint and watch a ladybug train car move by.
The show features many iconic Cincinnati landmarks such as the Taft Museum, Union Terminal, the Eden Park Spring House and new this year, the Tyler Davidson Fountain as well as a riverboat with real smoking stacks! Natural components such as pine cones, nuts, bark, sticks and moss are used by the Applied Imagination team to construct all of the houses, train tracks and trestles.
Another new addition this year is The Schmalz Family Holiday Village. This collection features characters that were on display in the windows of Shillito’s and Pogues years ago. I challenged my kids to find several characters in the village scene. There is so much to see!
You still got time to add the Krohn Conservatory to your holiday list.
