Reasons to Stay Onsite at Cedar Point’s Hotel Breakers

Reasons to Stay Onsite at Cedar Point's Hotel Breakers

I’ve stayed both onsite and offsite when I’ve visited Cedar Point Amusement Park over the years.  I have to say that I feel like staying onsite does really make a difference.

One of the big things that I love about staying onsite is that your walk from the hotel is closer than the parking lot.

If you stay at the hotel you also get early admission to the park an hour before the general public.

During my recent stay at Hotel Breakers I got to enjoy the new renovations. If you stayed at Hotel Breakers in the past, you might remember that the rooms were due for an update. The main attraction has always been the park, but now the hotel really creates a whole different atmosphere.

The Lobby

As soon as you walk in the lobby you can see the difference!

The lobby was given a more modern feel which included images from the park and an area for kids to enjoy while parents check in.

The Room

The room difference was a noticeably higher quality as soon as you stepped in the door. The colors were bright and cheery and the backboards showcased images from Cedar Point.

You can make your stay more economical by using the mini fridge and microwave in your room. I love that if you want to take a break from the park to get a snack or a sweatshirt for a while it’s not as big of a deal as driving off site and then coming back. There are also indoor and outdoor pools that you can enjoy in any type of weather.

Starbucks

If you want coffee, there is a brand new Starbucks with plenty of seating or you can take yours outside for coffee on the beach.

Beachfront location

Speaking of the beach. The beachfront at Hotel Breakers is GORGEOUS!!!!

I almost had to remind myself that I was still in Ohio.

Waking up early was worth it to be able to play on the beach before we checked out.

I also got some work done thanks to the complimentary WIFI.

Outdoor Area

The outdoor area is set up in a way that is friendly to both groups, families or couples who want to enjoy a nice evening by the fire pit.

Our family creates great memories every time that we visit Cedar Point. Hotel Breakers is also part of that memory making.

You can find out more about Hotel Breakers from their website.

Hotel Breakers is located at 1 Cedar Point Dr, Sandusky, OH 44870.

Disclosure: As a Cedar Point blogger, I received a complimentary stay at Hotel Breakers. All opinions are my own.
