Every time we visit family in West Michigan we try to make time to stop by the pier at Grand Haven. Lake Michigan is always beautiful regardless of the weather or the season.
The views are incredible all year long.

I follow several people on instagram who have been sharing images of the frozen pier and I was really excited take in the views in person during our visit.
There was fresh snow the morning of our visit which made our pier walk a little safer.
We still didn’t allow our boys to walk very far on the pier for safety purposes.
We decided to stop by one more pier before we drove home.
