3 Adventures Thrill Seekers Will Love in the Tri-State

There are several adventures around the Tri-State that will get your heart racing. I’m highlighting extreme adventures that you can try from each state that equal the thrill seekers trifecta of fun.

Wake Nation Cincinnati in Ohio

No boat = No problem!  Wake Nation Cincinnati is the first and only full-sized cable wake park in the Midwest!

The cable park offers the ability for riders of all skill levels to wakeboard, water ski, kneeboard, and wakeskate without a boat on a 10 acre lake!

All of the riders at Wake Nation are pulled by the overhead cable system. The cable system makes the learning process consistent and so much easier and faster for a beginner.

The cable system also makes it easier to stand up on the board within a few tries. Another bonus is that the water stays pretty warm because it’s only about 8 feet deep.

Wolf Creek Habitat and Rescue in Brookville, Indiana

Yes, I did let a wolf play with my hair. And yes, I was super nervous at first, but I’m glad that I did it.

Watch the wolves from afar on the observation deck for free, or take your adventure to the next level with a wolf encounter at Wolf Creek Habitat and Rescue that allows you to interact with wolves.

Located about an hour away from Cincinnati in Brookville, Indiana, Wolf Creek Habitat and Rescue is dedicated to rescuing wolves and educating the public about these amazing animals.

Rescue wolves exist because people think that they can have a wolf as a pet.  As the wolf grows, they realize that wolves are wild and cannot be domesticated. That’s where Wolf Creek Habitat comes into the picture.

They give these animals a place where they can be part of a pack and live as normal of a wolf life as possible.

Richard Petty Ride-Along Experience in Sparta, Kentucky

Racing fans can get a taste of the action with the Richard Petty Ride-Along Experience at Kentucky Speedway.

Ride shotgun in a NASCAR race car as you take 3 laps around the 1.5 track reaching speeds up to 165 mph with a professional driver.

You don’t have to be a huge race fan to enjoy this adventure. The experience really gives you a new appreciation for the skill set and focus that race car drivers have each time they take the wheel.

If you want an even bigger thrill, put yourself in the driver’s seat of a real NASCAR race car with the “Experience of a Lifetime” adventure.
