One of the places that I was SO EXCITED about visiting during my media trip with Positively Cleveland was the house from the movie “A Christmas Story.” It was actually even on my adventure list.

The movie is such a fun tradition to watch every year around the holidays. So many of the scenes from the movie are classics.

The home still displays the leg lamp in the window for visitors to view. Unfortunately, we didn’t have enough time to take the tour but we did take time to peak in the windows and check out the gift shop. A Christmas Story House is open year-round to the public for tours and even has overnight stays.

A Christmas Story House Gift Shop is just across the street from the house where you can purchase just about any kind of novelty item that is themed around the movie.

I had to fight the temptation to bring home a leg lamp Halloween costume and of course my very own leg lamp.

Check out this adorable mini village scene that is A Christmas Story themed.

There is a gift to purchase that represents pretty much every aspect of the movie.

A Christmas Story Museum showcases memorabilia that has to do with the movie.
