A toboggan chute was on my bucket list for a few years and I was really excited to finally cross it off my list after a visit to Cleveland Metroparks in Northern Ohio.
The Chalet at Cleveland Metroparks Mill Stream Run Reservation is a destination for fun all year round but I was REALLY only interested in checking out the fastest, tallest chutes in Ohio.
During the winter season, you can plummet down one of two frozen ice chutes that are 700 feet long.

How Long is the Wait for The Toboggan Ride?
The wait times for the toboggan chutes are dependent on the crowds.
The line posted signs of 3, 2, and 1-hour waits on the stairs on the way to the top. We were fortunate that our wait was 45 minutes vs. 3 hours.
How Many People Can Ride on the Toboggan Chutes?
The toboggan can fit up to 4 riders.
Is There an Age Limit for the Toboggan Chutes?
Children age 11 and younger must be accompanied by an adult and be at least 42 inches tall to ride on the toboggan chute.
Once your party is seated and holding tightly, palms up to the rope, you are on your way.
The toboggan was WAY faster than I anticipated and the ride was a great adrenaline rush. The hill was steep and it was truly a thrill.
You can also check the radar for your speed on the way down.
Due to time constraints, I only had time to go down once but it was worth the drive and I will definitely be back!
