A toboggan chute has been on my bucket list for a few years. I was really excited to finally cross it off my list after a visit to Cleveland Metroparks.

The Chalet at Cleveland Metroparks Mill Stream Run Reservation is a destination for fun all year round but I was REALLY only interested in checking out the fastest, tallest chutes in Ohio.

During the winter season, you can plummet down one of two frozen ice chutes that are 700 feet long.

How fast does the toboggan go?
The speeds are fast. You can go up to 50 mph!
I was joined by Laura from Far Flung Travels and her husband for this adventure.

The line posted signs of 3, 2, and 1 hour waits on the stairs on the way to the top. We were fortunate that our wait was 45 minutes vs. 3 hours.

The toboggan can fit up to 4 riders.

Once your party is seated and holding tightly, palms up to the rope, you are on your way.

The toboggan was WAY faster than I anticipated and the ride was a great adrenaline rush. The hill was steep and it was truly a thrill.

You can also check the radar for your speed on the way down.

Due to time constraints, I only had time to go down once but it was worth the drive and I will definitely be back!

A few things you need to know before you go on the toboggan chute
Children 11 and younger must be accompanied by an adult.
All children must be at least 42 inches tall to ride.
**All riders must wear gloves or mittens (Heavy gloves recommended).
The toboggan chutes at located at 16200 Valley Pkwy, Strongsville, OH 44136.
You can find out more about the toboggan chutes from the Cleveland Metropark website.

Disclosure: I was given complimentary admission for review purposes. All opinions are my own.
It was SO MUCH FUN! Defintiely something to add to your list:)
This looks like SO much fun. I’m not a winter person but tobogganing I love love love. Looks like I need to get myself to Cleveland in the winter one day.
