Have you tried archery before?
The boys and I tried testing out our archery skills with Genesis Bows at a local Field and Stream.
I honestly didn’t even know that they had an archery range where you can demo bows.
Eric, from Field and Stream, showed my boys how to properly attach their arrow to the bow.
He also made sure that they understood the importance of safety when using a bow and arrow.
In the beginning, my boys didn’t get as close as they wanted to the target.
The more that they tried the more their confidence began to build.
My active younger son was also able to slow down and use focusing skills as he got more comfortable with the equipment.
It was great to observe their excitement as they shot closer to the target.
I even tapped into my inner Katniss by shooting the bow a few times.
Archery is a great confidence booster and an activity that you can share with your family. I love that the whole family can use the Genesis Bow because there isn’t a specific draw length.
You can find out more about why I like the Genesis Bow here.
You can learn more about Genesis Archery from their website.
You can also try out a bow from Genesis Archery at a local Field and Stream so that your kids can build confidence and say #BullsIDidIt too!

I like the Genesis Bow 🙂
I have a genesis bow for my son too, it’s a good start and he love it, but it’s a compound bow, do you think it will be ok if he use the recurve bow too?
