I’m always on the hunt for unique outdoor adventures when I visit a destination.
I discovered that GoFAR USA Park has plenty of things to do for ALL ages. In fact, you’ll run out of time before you run out of fun!

I can’t say enough good things about my first time visiting GoFAR USA Park.
This business is truly a family venture of Patrick and Emily Fagerman with their kids who also work at the park.
Patrick’s energy is contagious and I wish we could figure out a way to bottle it.
He’s also a visionary who is always dreaming up ways to add more fun to the existing park. I have no doubt that there will be even more unique and fun things to do at GoFar USA Park in the coming years.
The most challenging part might be deciding which outdoor activity you want to try first.
Things to Do at GoFAR USA
Climbing Wall
My first adventure at the park was on the 24 ft climbing wall. The climbing wall has a self-belaying system that gradually takes you back to the ground.
If you want to reach the top, the key is to keep climbing and try not to stop on the way up.
I was SO CLOSE to the top and I ran out of energy and a good grip once I paused for a few moments trying to find better footing.
There is a smaller climbing wall that doesn’t require a harness if you want to practice before trying the big wall.
Kids will love climbing on the other elements next to the smaller climbing wall too.
Electric Off Road Scooters
Thrill-seekers will want to add on an Electric Scooter Rental during their visit.
Before you are turned loose on the trail you are given safety instructions and each person goes a short distance to get a feel for the off road electric scooter.
The trail through the woods is really scenic and there are even a few small bridges to cross to add an additional challenge.
Off-road electric scooter riders must be at least 12 years old and physically qualified for the 15-minute riding adventure.
My dad, who was 73 at the time of our visit, did great on the off-road scooter. He got the hang of it quickly and didn’t fall off on the trail making this a fun multi-gen adventure.
Electric Trail Boarding
If you are an experienced skateboarder or a snowboarder, this is the experience for you!
Electric Mountain Boarding for those who love to push their limits. The rider must be at least 14 years old and physically qualified for the 15-minute riding adventure.
It looks like I know what I’m doing on the electric trail board but this was clearly a staged pic.
I did try it while leaning on the owner’s arm for additional stability. It takes a little while to get used to controlling the throttle of your speed with the handheld remote.
I watched the owner’s kids whiz through the woods on the mountainboards with ease. They made it look easy and effortless… but it’s definitely not if you are a newbie without previous skateboarding skills.
Ziplines
The ziplines at GoFAR are at a lower height than a typical zipline canopy tour. This is so that you can have more turns in a shorter amount of time and younger ages.
There is a harness available for guests who would feel more comfortable with an additional layer of safety.
I rode the zipline and holding on during my ride wasn’t a problem at all!
There is also a smaller practice zipline available for guests when the regular zipline section isn’t available.
Natural Playscape
Kids can challenge themselves and build confidence on the elements at the Natural Playscape.
There is even a Tiny Tikes section for kids ages 5 and under.
Petting Zoo
Animal lovers will enjoy spending time at the petting zoo.
During our visit, there were baby pigs, big pigs, goats, bunnies, and a miniature horse.
Guests can get up close and enjoy spending time with the animals.
Paintball Shooting Range
Enjoy shooting paintballs without experiencing the pain of getting hit at the paintball shooting range.
Adults and kids will enjoy shooting targets with splashing of color on the 60ft range.
You can purchase buckets of paintballs when you arrive.
USMC (United States Marine Corps) Obstacle Course
This obstacle course is based on USMC “0” Course.
I decided that this one would be better modeled by the owners’ kids.
They once again made extremely challenging obstacles appear to be relatively easy to overcome.
I would have needed a lot more time and a safety mat to fall on. These kids are GOALS!
Ninja Course
I did attempt the section above on the Ninja Course and thankfully there were no pictures to document it. I definitely need to up my ninja skills.
