The Flyover Immersive Flying Experience
Real people at real places are featured during the films at Flyover Las Vegas.
No artificial intelligence is used in the films making the footage from the fixed lens, incapable of zooming from the helicopter and drones even more impressive!
The ride’s motion seats are engineered to give you the feeling of flight. The motion seats can swoop, dip, and turn for an unforgettable experience.
Flyover Las Vegas has a 52.5-foot-wide spherical screen that surrounds you for the entire experience and enhances the incredible visuals.
The wraparound screen allows you to access an insider’s look at the vast prairies and untamed landscape during the unmistakable feeling of flight.
The special effects allow you to feel the wind and the mist effects for a fully immersive experience as you soar through the clouds and near water.
Each film has location-specific scents for complete sensory engagement.
It’s easy to get caught up in the moment during your flight soaring over incredible landscapes but try to remember to breathe to take in all of the authentic scents along the way.
The flight ride portion is 8-10 minutes depending on the film and the three immersive experiences total 30 minutes.
You Can Watch Three Flyover Films in One Location
Your hardest decision is deciding which one of the spectacular films, filled with awe-inspiring landscapes and iconic locations you want to “flyover” first.
If you’ve previously enjoyed the iconic Walt Disney World ride (Soarin’) at Epcot or Disneyland, you’ll love the ride experience at Flyover Las Vegas even more!
I recognized several locations I’ve previously visited and found trip inspiration for future plans during our immersive flying journey.
The power of unique perspectives allows you to experience familiar iconic global destinations in new ways with sensations of flight.
I’ve previously flown in a helicopter over the Las Vegas Strip and the similarities during that moment of the film immediately brought back that incredible memory.
Wonders of the American West
During this film, you soar over 17 of the United States’ most beautiful landmarks including the iconic Las Vegas Strip, Grand Canyon, Potash Pools in Moab, Monument Valley, Cascade Lakes, Zion National Park, Lake Tahoe, Golden Gate Bridge, and more.

Highlights include the Aldeyjarfoss waterfall, the Markarfljótsgljúfur Canyon, Þrídrangar Island, the Mælifell volcano, the Dyrhólaey cliffs, and more.
Iceland is known as the land of fire and ice because of its dramatic contrasting landscape, which consists of volcanic and glacial terrains.
After the film, you can see the scenic locations featured on the map.
Windborne: Call of the Canadian Rockies
This film takes flight over 18 remote and unreachable areas of the Canadian Rocky Mountains with location destinations such as Banff, Jasper, and Yoho National Parks amongst other spectacular locales.
Before your flight, you’ll watch a film on two wrap-around screens on the back walls, a centered elevated double-sided screen, and a lower screen in the center of the room.
The film is around 8 minutes and sets up the location and the film’s unique theme.
Guests must be at least 40” in height, regardless of age and maturity, to experience Flyover Las Vegas. Children must be accompanied by an adult or guardian (14 years or older).

Enjoy a Craft Cocktail at The Lost Cactus Bar
Before or after the film, you can try signature craft cocktails and non-alcoholic mocktails based on the three flight films at FlyOver’s bar, The Lost Cactus.
If you’re looking for an Instagramable cocktail check out “Iceland’s Fire and Ice” cocktail that combines the magic of northern lights and the landscape’s smoky volcanoes.
The Iceland cocktail is made with Reyka Vodka, apple pucker, lime juice, lychee syrup, Blue Curaçao, and Sprite.
You can access the Lost Cactus Bar without an admission fee and the prices for the cocktails are reasonable for The Strip.
