Sometimes it’s hard to come up with ideas for party venues for your child’s upcoming birthday, especially if you want to try somewhere new.
I’m sharing more about the best places for birthday parties in Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky, from toddlers to teens.
Many of these venues can offer customized birthday party packages geared toward your child’s age.
Tips Before You Start
I’ve done the research and included a LOT of birthday party options for families to choose from.

Wonderland Playground – (Ages 10 and Under)

Wonderland Playground was designed for kids ages 1-8 in mind and is strictly enforced for kids ages 10 and under.
There are activities at Wonderland Playground that appeal to multiple ages, which is great for families with a range of young children.
The Ninja Course covers 3 lanes and 9 obstacles, including a rolling balance beam, rings, swinging steps, a climbing wall, and more.
Toddlers will love having access to challenging elements typically designated for “big kids” at other attractions.
There’s a specific section that’s height-restricted to 36 inches and under.
Parents have a line of sight to all areas, and there’s a maximum of 50 kids per session.
Wonderland Playground also closes in between sessions to clean all high-touch surfaces.
Birthday Parties at Wonderland Playground (Ages 10 and Under)
Birthday Parties at Wonderland Playground are VERY popular.
Tip – You’ll want to book your desired birthday party date 2-3 months in advance. 3+ months during the winter months.
There are two birthday party package options available, depending on your group size and budget for 1.5 hours.
- Basic Party (Starting at up to 10 kids). Dedicated use of a private party room for 1.5 hours, as well as a half hour to set up beforehand. Tables and Chairs For Guests, as well as a food table. (Party add-ons are available)
- Private Facility Rental – you can have exclusive access to the facility for your birthday party
If you reserve a party room, you can bring your own food and beverages or purchase a food party package as an add-on.
*Helium balloons must be weight-anchored and are only permitted in the birthday party rooms.
Little Diggers – (Ages 7 and Under)

Little Diggers is designed for kids ages 7 and under to play in their neighborhood’s largest sandbox (1,000 sq ft) filled with over 50 tons of sand.
You don’t need to bring sand toys because Little Diggers has 100 fun toys for kids to enjoy, so keep your personal sand toys at home.
Their sand is silica-free, dust-free, allergen-free, natural, and non-toxic. The texture is round and smooth.
Birthdays at Little Diggers – (Ages 7 and Under)
Little Diggers offers construction-themed birthday party rooms. Attendees have access to their own private sandbox in the party room in addition to the public sandboxes.

Fun Fact: The first paid professional fire department in the United States was founded in Cincinnati in 1853.
Several elements at the Cincinnati Fire Museum appeal to toddlers to 6-year-olds, including a display of firetrucks, an interactive cab with working sirens and lights, and a real fireman’s pole.
Junior Firefighter Birthday Parties – (Ages 3-6)
There are 3 different birthday party packages for a firefighter-themed party for kids ages 3-6 and their parents, at a max of 30 people.
Birthday parties last 2 hours, including setup and cleanup time. Parties are held on Saturdays at 10 AM, 12:30 PM, 1 PM, and 3:30 PM. They are designed for 15 kids and their parents.
Refreshments aren’t included, but you can bring your own.

The indoor mini golf course has 27 custom, creative holes. Each of the three 9-hole mini golf courses has creative elements and unique challenges.
Thanks to their digital scoring system, you don’t need to carry a scorecard.
This is a fun experience for adults and kids. Be on the lookout for several photo ops along the course.
Note that Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights after 9PM are for ages 21+ & up.
Birthday Parties at Par3 – (14 and under)
Par3 Party Packages are available for groups of 12 or more.
Parties are structured with food service starting first, followed by mini golf on a course selected by your event coordinator.

Nova Adventure Park is a great place to visit for families, from toddlers to teens.
There is so much to do for everyone…including parents who want to join in the fun, too.
I was honestly surprised at the number of slides and elements available for young kids.
Parents will appreciate the abundance of leather couches throughout the building.
It’s very easy to watch your kids and be comfortable while doing it.
The “Toddler Court” is a special area where toddlers can jump on multiple trampolines and can even jump into a foam pit.
There are also other designated areas at the indoor park for ages 12 and under only.
And designated areas for ages 10 and under, too.
Birthday Parties at Nova Adventure Park (Ages 5 and up)
Nova Adventure Park has several party rooms available for birthday parties. Most parties are for ages 5-12, but you can book parties for kids under 5 and over 12.
