The beauty of snow tubing at a ski resort is that you don’t have to do the work of tubing. Snow tubing at a park is pretty short-lived because of the climb back up the hill.
At Perfect North Slopes, you just stand on the moving carpet. We took our kids and my out of town friend to Perfect North Slopes in Lawrenceburg, Indiana to ring in the new year by crossing an adventure off of my list.
Perfect North guests can choose between two lanes for their moving carpet ride.
Your biggest concern is choosing which lane you want to ride down.
You can ride down as a single or link up as a pair down the lane.
One of the snowmakers was making snow during our visit so we got an extra blast on the way down.
The Super Lanes are a little longer but they are worth the wait because you can link multiple tubes together.
For younger guests, there is also a very small bunny hill for small children to tube on.
If you happen to go on New Year’s Eve, you can watch the torchlight parade by ski instructors.
There were also fireworks at midnight.
My friend visiting from California loved the tubing experience but not the 19-degree temperature.
Perfect North Slopes has several fire pits at the bottom of the hill for riders and spectators to warm up by.
There are also several warming huts available for guests that are perfect for large groups.
The ski slopes are just across the parking lot in case you want a more intense adventure.
We watched a few daredevils from the warm lodge before calling it a night.
Creating memories with friends and family = PRICELESS!

You will definitely want to dress in layers! You can always peel away layers but it’s hard to warm up if you don’t wear enough layers to start with.
A Ski Jacket is ideal in case it rains or snows while you are snow tubing.
For your pants, you will want to wear ones that can stretch and that help repel water.
Depending on the temperatures, you might want to wear snow pants to help keep you warm. They are also another layer of cushion if you fall on the ice.
Underneath your snow pants, you can’t go wrong with yoga pants, leggings, sweatpants, or leggings
A hat and waterproof mittens are ideal to keep your hands warm without getting wet. If you tend to get really cold you might want to consider bringing some hand warmers too.
If it’s windy a neck gaiter can help keep your neck and face warm.
For your shoes, you’ll want to wear waterproof boots and waterproof boots
