I was given the opportunity to try out rental ski wear from Get Outfitted. I used the rental company on a trip to visit family in Grand Rapids, Michigan. My boys are in a big growth spurt stage and we are constantly discovering items of clothing that fit weeks ago that don’t fit anymore. They also tend to grow out of their ski gear pretty quickly too which made using Get Outfitted a nice alternative to the frustration of searching multiple stores for gear for the trip.
The process was extremely easy.
I picked out the sizes of pants, gloves and a jacket for both of my boys.
I also was really excited about testing out a GoPro along with a few accessories for the first time. This is perfect for someone who is considering making a big purchase but wants to give it a trial run first.
A stylist from GetOutfitted emailed me after the order to find out what colors my boys liked/disliked, any fit concerns, and their skill level as skier/snowboarder. I appreciate that they took that information into consideration when picking out gear for my kids.
Our gear arrived in Michigan before we did which was perfect! I didn’t tell the boys about the surprise until we got there. They were excited to see what was picked out for each of them.
Everything was in the box along with a large return envelope that was already prepped for shipping. There was also the bonus of little hand warmers, stickers and a little energy snack.
The gear fit each of my boys perfectly.
The boys tested out the gear on a local sledding hill with their cousins.
The snow gear held up great while the kids were playing.
We had one more adventure to see the icy pier at Grand Haven before we left Michigan.
We decided to visit a few more piers along the shoreline on our way home. I was relieved that the return process was SUPER EASY. I placed everything in the prepaid mailer bag and dropped the bag off at a local post office near where we stopped for dinner.

Complete outfit rentals start as low as $30 a day which is a lot less than purchasing your own gear.
