Dinner and a movie can be a nice date …..but every now and then it’s fun to think outside the box by trying something new together.
I’ve created a list of some of my favorite extreme and unique date ideas.
These could be fun first date adventure ideas or great adventure challenge date ideas to encourage you to get outside of your comfort zone.

1. Try a “new to you” restaurant
Go to a restaurant that you both have never been to before.
I like to do a little research by checking with a few friends who are bloggers and also from websites.
Step out of your comfort zone and try a cuisine that you normally wouldn’t eat.

2. Take a Tour
I love taking tours. I think they can be such a great date.
There are so many out there that you can find one for almost any interest level.
There are history tours, sports tours, sightseeing tours, art tours, food tours, beer tours, etc.
You don’t have to go far. I’ve taken so many tours that I even created a specific category on the blog main page specifically for them.
Ride Segways because once you ride one, you won’t care how nerdy you look.

3. Go to a Museum- Art, History, Sports or a random oddity.
Explore a museum that you don’t know very much about.

SUCH A GOOD LIST! It’s easy to choose the ‘obvious’ date night options but these adventurous ones are much more memorable. We love going fishing and kayaking – with and without our baby. Haven’t been in whitewater yet tho like your pic! Thanks for sharing the inspo <3
These are great ideas! My boyfriend and I recently went to Hocking Hills for zip lining. We had a lot of fun, but we did the “easiest” ones (first timers) but next time we will definitely be doing the extreme version. Extreme tree climbing sounds like something we should try too!
These ideas are great! Can’t wait to try some of them out!!
